i got my marks back i got 37 -E in unit 2
and 47-D in unit 1
although our teacher was able to put these marks into raw and it turns out i only got 25/100 in unit 1 and 22/100 in unit 2.
he went through the paper with us as a class and the thing they where not accepting was a joke. it was stuff that was on the factfiles but when it came to marking the papers it 'wasnt enough detail'

I have two teachers for digital technology, one of them gives us the fact file and lets us on our way and the other goes into too much detail that it is actually confusing

My other subjects are okay for past papers because not much changes with new specs(Bio and Chem). And they also have textbooks and revision guides. DT has NOTHING
I also think, the exams are REALLY badly written. For example, for the fetch execute cycle, you can write paragraphs and paragraphs about registers (which you need to know about in the spec) etc. but in mark schemes they have it in 4 short sentences.

I'm in the same situation. One teacher goes by the factfiles and gives us a few notes to write down. Whilst the other has made extremely OVER detailed notes.

hi i do similar subjects to you, AS i done maths chem bio and DT and this year i dropped bio. DT is a head frier. AS isnt really a comparison to A2. i got full uniform marks in DT unit 2 with 59% and a high A in unit one with 48%(clashed with chem last year) i would suggest the bcs glossary as the fact files are a joke. Its so annoying having no proper resources and i end up having to use google half the time. Also the coursework for a2 is awful and made me regret dropping bio.

I'm pretty sure my notes I'm using for this year are made up of the fact file summarised into the actual decent points, and the BCS glossary of computing and ICT,
If your teacher is only giving you fact files to learn its no wonder why 40 raw marks was an A last year

A hosted instance can be thought of as a location of physical memory on a (cloud) server which has been allocated to a particular client or owner. i.e. it is a block of memory which acts as a virtual server for that client. Each instance will have its own allocation of processing power, storage and other components. As each server will serve multiple clients this makes it possible to allocated additional capacity to clients when their usage spikes and resource demands increase. Each instance provides a virtual environment which can be used by the client for the processing of their cloud based task or application.
Hosted Solutions
With a hosted solution any hardware and software made available to a client is reserved for the servicing of that individual clients needs and no-one else.
Clustering
Clusters of dedicated hardware will be hosted at each data centre and used to provide specialised services and processes for clients.
Hope this helps.

Just about survived after that coursework😂😂 if you need any help with as i can try my best, esp as2 as i got full ums in it. For a2 im really scared because i know my notes dont address the spec and i end up stressing myself out looking notes up on google or youtube which makes it worse lmao
