Did terrible stuff years ago

This is anon as there are people I know on here.

I know this sounds pathetic but I really regret it and have no idea why I did it but when first got a pc and webcam (I was 16/17/18) I talked to loads of guys and they asked me to do stuff on webcam with them and I did, this was like most nights. I also sent out lots of pictures etc and the guys would send me theres, probably fake. I don't know why i did it though as I didn't enjoy it i just wasn't bothered :confused:

Now though im really worried about my pics being scattered over the internet and hate myself for being so insecure. Im actually a virgin in real life not because im ugly im just really shy but wasn't on the internet for some reason. :confused:

I keep worrying about people I know eventually finding pics of me or videos or something and that would be like the end of the world. The worst thing is im gonna have to worry about this happening for the rest of my life im just a pathetic loser.

I constantly worry about it but does anyone know what tends to happen to pics years later? I know the internet is big but what is the chance of someone who knows me finding out?

It depends if these guys are malicious, I suppose.. I imagine that lots of them would just disregard the pics after..

I'd doubt anybody will find them tbh. I mean, I doubt the guys you showed them to would be bothered to upload them to some porn site or whatever. Maybe they just have them in their personal collections :p:

And if anybody you know does see them, well it was years ago and you've changed. You've matured :biggrin:

Don't worry about it, you've obviously learnt your lesson. And if you do it again make sure you hide your face!

I think the probablility of someone you know stumbling across them would be very low, and the kind of people you wouldn't want to find them (i.e. parents, prospective employers and so on) would have a hard job justifying looking at those kind of websites anyway if they ended up there. :p:

I wouldn't worry about it too much, and it just goes to show that you've moved on and changed for the better. :smile:

To be honest if someone you know does find them it will be hard for them to prove it was you! I mean for all they know it could be someone who looks very much like you, like you said people can only go off your face as if your a virgin its likely no one you know knows your body well lol.

As the others have said, it most likely won't happen. As much as you may have seen on TV and in movies about guys putting up pics and movies of girls from webcams, it really doesn't happen in real life so much! :rolleyes:

Maybe if the girl had been a guys ex and then been a right bitch to him he may feel like doing it, but otherwise, there's going to be serious consequences for a guy who uploads photos/movies of a young girl (even if you're 18 it's still pretty young) - who he doesn't have permission from!

I'd say don't worry about it, lots of us did stupid things when we were younger, it doesn't all come back to haunt us later on in life. If anything DOES happen, of course, you can sue the guy who uploaded it :biggrin:

Even if they have been distributed, it's unlikely they'll be stumbled across by people you know. Even if that happens, considering the average quality of webcams a few years ago it'd be hard to say it's definitely you.

I wouldn't worry. As already said the chances of anyone important finding them is pretty small, and even then it shouldn't be a problem unless you do it again!

Ha I actually thought that, there goes my chances of ever being famous! Not that I will be. What worried me most is that I know that webcams can be recorded but I didn't back then. Also I think I signed up to a few websites like rate my body and never went on them again, Ive forgot the passwords etc so Ive probably got a few profile pages :rolleyes:

How many girls do what the op has done on the quiet? Im sure your not the only one as there is a website called captured on cam. It shows loads of girls who have been secretly recorded so check if your on!! Not that I go on regular btw.

Anyway if the worst comes to its worst just say its not you, you don't remember. I mean for all they know it could have been a regular habit when you were drunk and your friends put you on for a laugh. Thats excusable when your young.

if someone has uploaded pics/vids of you onto a porn site, then whoever sees them has to justify going onto that site anyway.

The chances of them being found are small. The chances of them being found by someone who knows you are smaller. The chances of them being found by someone who knows you, recognises you from them, and judges you negatively for it are absolutely tiny.

Worrying about it won't do anything except making you miserable, so don't :smile:
