I found the question where it was like = Give one advantage of sexual reproduction for species over asexual reproduction.

I wrote that the offspring is not a clone of the parent. But I am sure it is wrong.


What did u guys write?

I said that it allows for variation

I wrote that one advantage could be that the offspring would not be genetically identical to the parents, therefore will not inherited bad genes such as diseases.

i put it allows for genetic variation so less likely to be wiped out by a disease. ??

What did u guys write?
There's variation in the gene pool. This means in case a disease is spreading in the future, due to the ariation, there will be a chance of survival for the species
