Hi, guys. I usually look through the specification when revising to check that I have covered everything. I just went through the spec again and I pressed Ctrl+F and typed in "carbohy" and the only mention in B1 is on health and diet and in the carbon cycle. However, the 3rd word that was found was carbohydrases in B2.5.2 which state "carbohydrases are used to convert starch into sugar syrup" in other words glucose. AQA doing this again like in 2015 with the ribosome question?

In B1.1.1 it says "Carbohydrates, fats and proteins are used by the body to release energy and to build cells. " and then in B1.6.2 it says "the carbon from the carbon dioxide is used to make carbohydrates, fats and proteins, which make up the body of plants and algae". Thos are the only mentions of carbs in B1.
