Chances of getting offers from uni

Hey just out of curiosity, if someone got 3 Us for their a level exams can they still be predicted 3 As by a referee/teacher telling the universities they had extenuating circumstances. Also what would be the chances of that person receiving an offer? Thanks in advance.

Your predictions are between you and your referee. There's no law saying the referee couldn't predict A's - but this depends on their knowledge of you as a student. If they believe that you will get an A for the A Level they may predict this.

The chances of an offer are impossible to predict. It depends on all factors of the application - the reference, GCSE grades, personal statement etc. But if you don't get offers, you could look at [wiki]UCAS_Extra[/wiki], Clearing, or taking a gap year to reapply.
