I always hear about 18/19/20 year old students complaining about how stressful University is, and they have every right to do so. However, all these students have to compare the stress level to is A-Levels and GCSEs.
In reality, when comparing it to a fast paced sales environment in full time employment, juggling bills, work stress etc, how stressful is University to the mature student? Is it still the most stressful thing you've ever done in your lives, or is full time work more difficult?
I'll be studying Physics at the age of 24 this October at Durham.

I think a lot of the 'stress' felt by young people is inexperience and anxiety.
So yes, it is stressful, but I am really enjoying it as a mature student and don't miss workplace politics.
