Hi, i'm Abdul from London. I'm in my second year of sixth form and will be taking the units of GOV3A and GOV4A in June. I have created this thread so that we can discuss revision techniques, exam strategies, question predictions and so that we can help each other. I found it useful for AS last year and I realised no one has created a thread for this year yet.

Note: Exam board: AQA ONLY.

Feel free to participate and ask questions. We're all here to learn!

I'm taking GOV4A!

How are you thinking of revising for it. I find it a lot more trickier that gov3a due to the content involved

Also how did you find gov 3a

I am doing constitution and judiciary for unit 4a. Well I am revising over my notes that focus on the history of the constitution, Sep of powers, Supreme Court cases recall and facts about the court such as appointment process. It's all about the examples I think

I found Gov3A good. The questions we're surprisingly nice and straight forward.

For Gov4A I'm mainly focusing on Congress and the Executive (President), and a bit of Constitution.

The questions were standard and had been asked before e.g. recall elections
I guess people had revised the previous mark schemes so thats probs why
