Tummy Migraines?

Has anyone ever suffered from these? I've been suffering for a little while from stabby pains right in the middle of my tummy - it's accompanied by nausea and usually feeling cold or shakey, but I'm not sick from it. It passes in an hour or so, then I'm back to normal. I know it must be brought on by stress or nerves because it only happens when I'm very very stressed, or very very happy.

At the moment, it is a mix of the two as I've just moved to Moscow for my 2nd year, and I saw Muse yesterday (I was bouncing off the walls and could not, cannot keep still.)

The only reason I'm a little dubious is I am 19 - surely this is just a condition that affects young children?

I'm asking here is because my mum said it sounds like a tummy migraine, and I want to see whether its worth the money to get an appointment at the embassy or not - whether I can hold off until Xmas when I'm home and can trouble the NHS.

Thank you in advance for any help or advice.

have a look at this, it says about the symptoms and stuff http://www.cafamily.org.uk/Direct/a13.html
if you think you do have abdominal migraine i would recommend booking yourself in for an appoitment with your local GP just to make sure that that's what it is.
i get migraines (headache migraines) really badly and i have to be checked up now and again, but theres nothing they can do apart from give me really strong drugs to take every day which i dont want to take, so i dont have them.
so if you do go to see a doctor i dont really think they would do much apart from give you advice on how to cope when you get one.. (which is normally just rest until it passes!) good luck!
