They are getting away with it because people like your girlfriend are naive. All these companies do is give you couple of pictures and enter you into their database. They don't guarantee that you will become a model, or that anyone will hire you. So it's legal.

Very true, I got the general manger number from here I tried to call them countless of times no answer. I send the number to girlfriend funny thing was they have answered after calling them twice , they said she won't get a refund due to her contract she have signed but said they will promise work by next week which it's a lie no call going to happen by next week .I've should of known earlier because when she applied n got appected to the model the person name was Tom when we turned up to the place. The person asked who asked referred u to here my girlfriend said tom all the stuff didn't known the person expect the agent at the end n said they never herd of him . I shouldn't of ignored it that's was the sign of Dodginess.

Hi

I was igmored since february etc paid £1000 now i left a feedback on trustpilot they reported. Not sure why and how long tp investigates but lfm asked me to remove it and i couldnt cause it was already reported??!

I have a form to report them to
https://www.gov.uk/government/organi...lvency-service
But im waiting as I asked A lady (not putting name since trustpot) on phone to give me refund instead if extended (no) service.
And if nothing then i report but im not sure whats happening after that.

I feel like we should all team up and work because like this absolutely nothing will happen. They operate which proves this.
Im afraid reporting wont do anything.

QUOTE=evgarner23;71830198]The police will want something to stick to them and I can guarantee they are committing some type of fraud, especially in light of the Company Registration. They use images on their website etc. which they probably don't have copyright for and will be taking money in off victims and not paying tax. I'm going to investigate (I work for an anti-fraud data management company) and research options to take them down because there will be one and I have evidence.

This is the ratbag behind the operation, he's even spoken about scamming to cover his back.[/QUOTE]

I am determined in bringing this non reputable company down, I have contacted Burberry who have said they will pass my query onto a different department in their business and I have asked to receive a reply but am unsure if I should receive one, but I know that they are working on the issue, Furthermore, I have contacted Hugo Boss and await a reply, tomorrow I will be contacting Zara and Gap, hopefully, they have more power than I to stop this con.
Don't bother. Haven't you realised yet that the agency is a money-making device with little if any interaction with the legitimate powerhouse brands? I can't believe you lot are so naive.

I went here on Wednesday with my son, I can't believe how they can do this to people I ended up forking out £1500 they need to be stopped
I had exactly the same experience three months ago when I had sent in a pic of my lovely son aged 5. They responded .The same calls, photoshoot and promises and an attempt to get me to "invest" £3500. In the the end I parted with a credit
card payment of £1500 for an Efolio and promises of modelling and TV work within a month. Non of this ever materialised and they stopped answering my calls,
complaints and emails.Extremely embarrassed, frustrated and upset I phoned my Bank to see if there was any way of claiming my money back. FORTUNATELY
there was. I had to submit all the paperwork and communication with LFM to the bank to confirm that LFM had not delivered the goods. The bank took on my
complaint and said that they would allow 45 days for LFM to contest the dispute
and if they did not do so then the money would be refunded. As it happened LFM did not wish to dispute the complaint and did not request the money back. I have since had my payment refunded. London fashion models and many others are
just a con operation.

Hi. I am currently experiencing same sentiments. If you feel you are scammed you may report this to actionfraud, and police! You are also free to consult citizen advice and ask solicitor/s what you can do. We were all pressured and fell into this scam. After all of these scamming what is important is we have to do something and not just let them still do it to other people, especially those kids! They are exploiting their dreams! I know for sure to most who fell for this they got big hopes and dreams! Like mine. And they are just exploiting it by just getting money from us and not doing anything afterwards.

Right now, I am feeling completely helpless, I just went there a mere 24 hours ago and was told the exact same thing, my mum, warned me but I kept saying that it was something that I wanted to do and needless to say I fell for it, I didn't go as far as paying for the online portfolios due to financial issues, however, the woman kept saying I should pay £2500 but she'd give me the platinum deal, therefore investing £3500 in me, but I persisted that I wasn't capable of paying that amount so I ended up paying for a basic portfolio which meant £500 and now looking back I realise how big of a mistake that was. Now, I am just wondering if there is any way possible to even attempt to get my money back since as I mentioned I am not completely financially stable and now I'm left with 110 photos and an agency pack, which are completely useless, I spoke to my friend and she mentioned that I should apply to agencies myself so that if I do get accepted into reputable agencies for instance Wilhelmina models I'd be guaranteed to get my money back some way or another but as for now I am frustrated beyond expression and hope that nobody else is dragged into this.
