    Just wondering how is economics like at uni? I do it as a A-level but apparently its nothing like that at uni and is heavy maths, like statistical modelling. Considering it for application next yr so any reply would be appreciated.

    Otherwise, broadly, yes it is much more mathematical, but especially so in your second and third years. In your first year, the core micro/macro modules are still quite wordy with a bit of maths introduced here and there, but equally you have modules in maths/stats alongside where you cover the necessary mathematics to use in your second/third years.
