So apparently the Podesta Mails showed Podesta personally helped to launch two progressive groups to infiltrate the Catholic Church in an attempt to provide a liberal revolt against the US bishops. Calling it a “Catholic Spring,” (analogous to the Arab Spring; a US staged revolts against secular political regimes in the Middle East) Podesta acknowledged that he “created” these groups to begin a progressive revolution in the Catholic Church. These two pseudocatholic groups were funded by George Soros and are called Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and Catholics United.
In a 2012 email to Podesta—with the subject line of “opening for a Catholic Spring?”—a progressive activist named Sanford Newman, President of Voices for Progress, conspired with Podesta to create a “Catholic Spring, in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages dictatorship and the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality in the Catholic Church.” Podesta responded to the suggestion by claiming that he had already created Catholic groups ready to act when needed: “We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good to organize for a moment like this (resignation of Pope Benedict XVI).”
Pope Francis is known for his controversial stances and statements that even a ordinary believer would say let alone a pope. Francis once compared Muhamed with Jesus, called conservative Catholic enemies of the Church and said attending Sundays mass is not necessary. Pope Francis was unwiling to help Christians in the Middle East persecuted by Islamist while at the same time inviting their murders to Europe as refugees. Also, he is destroying the long year credibility the Church has among its believers.
