ArcCot(x) = ArcTan(1/x), not 1/ArcTan(x)
3. If arccot x = y

And you need to find y.

Cot y = x

Tan y = 1/x

y = Arctan 1/x
4. (Original post by RichE)
ArcCot(x) = ArcTan(1/x), not 1/ArcTan(x)
but for sin and cos its what i originally did?
Thanks
