What evidence of idienty can I send to student finance?
I only have a foreign birth cirtificate (it's in english). I cant use my passport, as getting a new pasport can take like a month and by then it will be too late.
So, what can I send to student finance. Will they accept the foreign birth cirtificate??

Phone them to check, but I don't see why a non-UK birth cert would be a problem, especially as it's in English.

I called them and they asked which country issued it and then they did not accept my birth certificate (I think it depends on which country issued it).

To Check your identity, they have a list of about 7 other documents which they accept and in my case, they said the Certificate of registration as British citizen should be fine.

If anyone is having same problem it’s best to call them. Not sure why I did not think of that in first place.
