My student finance approved letter has the wrong information Watch

I have applied for a higher maintenance loan based on the house hold income. On my account it has the full amount I wish to have but on the letter it's a much lower amount.

Should I still sign and send it or should I call for it to be changed?

    Hi Kieran SD,

    Thank you for your question.

It may be that you were income assessed after the notification of entitlement was sent, if this is the case you should receive a new notification of entitlement with the correct amount which should also show on your letters and emails section on your online account. You should still send the declaration, as the amount can be amended later as well. Also check the loan amount section on your application to ensure you have requested the maximum amount.

    Thank you.
    Kruti.
