I had had two pervious years of full funding from student finance but now i've changed my course. This new course is a 3 year course + 8month foundation so SFE said they couldnt fund my first year so i self funded. Now i didnt progess into my second year of study as i had a few resits. My uni has now told me that as im on a accelerated programme (3 year + 8 months course combined into 2 year + 8 months) i'll need to self fund again during this period or resits but SFE wont fund because i have not progressed. Can anyone help please??

Yes, you would need to self fund. It's nothing to do with the course being accelerated. Everyone is entitled to one gift year of finance, and you've already used yours. If they funded you for this resit year, you'd be getting a second gift year and that's not allowed.
