I need some strengths for the learning theory of attachment. My teacher only gave us limitations and I have no clue whats strengths there are....can anyone suggest any please?
(1) Learning theory states attachments are learnt through experience during classical conditioning so if this is the case then infants who lose their mother or who are deprived should be able to form an attachment with another caregiver providing they reduce the need for hunger and provide comfort.
(2) Pavlov and Skinner's research provides support for classical and operant conditioning.
I don't think you necessarily need to have a balance of positive and negative points, as long as you get the points that are there down.
That said, I would follow what the user above me posted.
