Music Is Power was a good track but he's nothing without The Verve.

I agree with both of you.

Frustrates me a bit. He can produce gems like 'Keys to the world' or 'Crazy world', but then he does loads of crappy stuff. Still I will keep listening to his releases. He has done some good b-sides too.

Break The Night With Colour is a decent single; the best Verve song is Sonnet.

I really liked 'Break The Night With Colour' but I've not really heard any of his other stuff.

It's really not...

i thought The Verve were massively overrated, Richard Ashcroft sounds like an absolute idiot, talking himself up after making 5 good songs and one of the most overrated albums ever (Urban Hymns)

His solo career is even worse.

Hmmm I know what you mean. I have Verve albums, but they don't half depress me.

Gravity Grave live from glasto on the b sides collection is rather good though

Here's some from NME -- http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5EOphr7dLIk

Hmmm not massively impressed.

Ooh thanks for that, it's alright I guess

Nowhere near as good as See You In The Next One, which would be near impossible and is probably an unfair criterion for me to judge other Verve tracks by

Poor guy must struggle without the verve. He said himself that he lost 8 million fans overnight because he was no longer the verve...
