what was the acc of fly?

I got 1294m/s^2
Something similar , about 1500 ms^-2

Dunno how you guys manage to get 92% for the energy question... I got 23.4 % exactly.

The distance travelled I got 0.14m.

The acceleration I got 1250ms^-2

Not sure how you going to measure the viscosity of the oil directly.

F=6 * pi * r * n(viscosity) * v

So I think you just need to find the terminal velocity and radius of the sphere and that's it.
What did you guys get for the vector question diagram....what was the resultant force??

Wasn't sure about that question made referencing to newtons third

Yup it was ! I wrote according to n3 then related to N2 !

Really need the unofficial mark scheme

Wasn't he asking about the motion of the ball ?? the diagram is correct i did the same thing ! But instead of markers i wrote Thread** !!
Whats the energy percent for the fly question? I seen conflicting answer everywhere :/

You only needed to find the terminal velocity

Yeaaaa !!! Thankkk goddd !!! XD LOL !
anyone get around 97.2% for the last question?
I think we need to divide the number by 2

I got a pretty small distance something in the range of 0.14m i think

Almost certain that it is 0.12, but possibly you still get the other marks for the working out, if youre lucky theyll maybe even give you full marks. I believe you havent used all of the significant figures on your calculator when doing the question, so if that is the case, usually their pretty nice with that.

yes as there are 2 pads
why dont we multiply by 2? I got around 48.6%, and multiplied by 2 to give 97.2%.
