Aqa maths c2 june 2017 unofficial markscheme

So basically, put your answers for the exam paper here to see if we you got the questions right
K=13 , in the logarithms question
Scale factor is 1/16 , stretch in the y-direction
Translation [-4/3 0]
Original post by sufi784
the question was to write (x+1)^2 in the form of k, so k=13 makes no sense

I meant the question about sequences and infinity, which you use logs to get k

The translation was [3/4 0],
you needed to rewrite 4x-3 as 4(x-3/4), since the negative becomes a positive, it becomes a translation of vector [3/4 0].

I've asked like a million people, checked all the threads and you're wrong. It's 4/3

Just realised i remembered the question incorrectly, it was 3x-4 not 4x-3, so yes it is 4/3 (thats what i put in the exam), however i noticed you put -4/3 in the original post, how come?
