Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone sitting this exam. Will add useful websites later. This thread is for the discussion of the old spec Physics AQA A Unit 2 exam.

Thanks for starting!

I've finished past papers (inc. specimen) for this exam, and reviewed my weaknesses in a neat table. Can anyone suggest other ways to prepare for Thursday?

Really? I thought it was pretty nice Especially because i suck at electricity and i understood the questions.
Did you not like the multiple choice questions? I thought they were amazing!

The electricity was ok compared to what we cpuldve got - but all the measurements have a chance of going bad and i had to rush all the multiple choices

I also felt time was an issue and had to guess the last several multiple choice questions.

What did everyone choose for He and Xe?
I said He since it is lighter and has a higher specific charge so will reach a faster speed? Idk

I said that ^^^

But I chose Xenon, because it has a greater change of momentum due to a much greater mass which is proportional to the force.

Unsure if thats right though

I chose Xe since it has a higher specific charge it will be accelerated more by the electric field so has a higher velocity and mass than He therefore a higher momentum
