Ok. My friend does as well and she has just turned 19. Roughly the same age. I'd never be allowed, but that is not even the issue lol. There is no boyfriend to stay with.
I've been out with one boy but it doesn't count really so I say that I haven't. Because we didn't even see each other or anything. Went on one date, lasted 4 weeks I was 14. So it doesn't count. I saw him about twice in those 4 weeks.
Anyway, people keep ur messages and votes coming.

I had very brief boyfriends lasting no more than a week when I was about 13.

So, really. No. I've never had a boyfriend. It doesn't really bother me though. I've always been popular, I have great friends, I'm pretty, decent figure, dress nicely, sociable and intelligent. Yes a boyfriend would be nice. I'm just very picky. And, in all honesty there isn't much choice around me. The only good looking boys are stupid, the clever ones are ugly. When I'm at uni I'm sure it will all change.

Aww, I know how you feel.
As for the person that said they felt there was something wrong with them, I don't even know. I am a friendly, apparently pretty girl yet I have never had a boyfriend. It is really hard at uni as well. I don't see myself getting a boyfriend. I think it is just my luck really. I can't think what else it could be.

"broke up" (i hate that term) with my first ever boyfriend about two weeks ago, we would have been together a yr next weekend. Im 19.

I've been with my boyfriend for 7 months now. He's the best. But I don't think a girl needs a boyfriend to be happy. That's what friends are for! They keep you happy and you won't feel lonely when you're with them.

lol, I thought that, now Im here, it is still the same. I don't know how people like me get boyfriends anyway. I mean, there are so many people so there should be a high chance but that also makes it difficult. You don't know who is in your year. If I meet someone they might not be staying on campus, so it's all a bit different. Apart from in my lectures (where you can't talk anyway) and at the dinner table (I don't meet people). There are a lot of people around but I can't just start talking to every boy I see. I guess it is a question of the right time and place.

Why does it bother you so much? It's not a reflection of you and not due to any of your faults. Yes, some of the things people do in a relationship would be nice. But, only if it's with the right person. You just haven't found the right person yet. Plenty of bad things happen in relationships too. When I look at some of my friends' messy relationships, I'm glad I'm not in one.

16 and never had a bf. In yr 8 some girls in my form tried to set me up with some guy they know. Still have no idea who said guy is haha. Also in yr 8 some guy I was at primary school with asked me out...I declined .

its reasuring to know there are also girls in this situation, my naive view is that all girls are pretty much pestered to death by males :P

I suppose. But how about when your in a different city to your friends and don't have close friends at uni? Or when you do have close friends but they all have boyfriends and you do not?
Or if they reckon they are too good because they have a boyfriend and don't want to hang out with you anymore.

My boyfriend broke up with me on Thursday after 3 weeks.

And my last boyfriend before him was when I was 17. I'm now nearly 20.

Then it's your friends that are the problem. My best friend is in a long term relationship. She makes enough time to see me. I even go out with her and her bf and another mate, as her bf is a friend of mine and it's all fine.

I'm 18 in less than a week. I'm quite happy without a bf. I don't see why I should feel I have to have one.

Because I'm at uni and you know what uni's like. And I also expected to meet someone at uni. My friends and I think my mum said to me 'uni will be different, you'll meet someone' so I was really waiting for that.
Also because when I speak to my friends after a while, someone else has got one and I'm still without one.
I think I know what it is. I look really young and Im around 5ft so I suppose I'm just not what guys are looking for. I don't really look my age facially and physically.

I know Im not a girl but I've never had a girlfriend and im 25

How long have you been at uni? Like a month? There's plenty of time. Try not to stress about it. I doubt it's to do with the way you look. Just that you haven't met the right person. I know plenty of girls who are barely over 5ft and have boyfriends. Just because everyone else has a boyfriend doesn't mean you need one.
