For the maginifaction one
I got 0.42
For the hear rate i got 85.7
For the Cardiac output I got 8741.4 (stroke volume is 152-50).
For the water potential one, I put 0.28.
I got 4 to 16 for the volume bit.
For the enzyme one I talked about non competitive inhibition (they usually except both, but the shapes of both molecules were really different).

Don't know how you got 0.42, the length was 2.2cm so 2.2/50000 then converted into micrometres is 0.44.

I got 2.1 cm as the image length. So got 0.42 micrometeres as the actual length

oh cool. If you're new spec, how did you know the questions were repeated?
Also, where are your unofficial answers?

Question 1(a)(b)(d)(e), 2(a), 5,6, and 7(a) from this past paper: http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...W-QP-JAN11.PDF
Question 7(b) from this past paper:
http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...W-QP-JUN10.PDF
Question 5 from this past paper:
http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...1-QP-JAN12.PDF
Question 3, 8 from this past paper:
http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...1-QP-JAN13.PDF
I dont understand why AQA have recycled literally so much for the BIOL1 paper and then give us a cancerous exam for the new specification paper but oh well. The past paper questions should look familiar

Ive done all the old spec questions and I dont have the time to put everything up but if u remember any specific questions then I can give you the answers. Also for a rough guide these following questions were almost directly copied from past papers.
Question 1(a)(b)(d)(e), 2(a), 5,6, and 7(a) from this past paper: http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...W-QP-JAN11.PDF
Question 7(b) from this past paper:
http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...W-QP-JUN10.PDF
Question 5 from this past paper:
http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...1-QP-JAN12.PDF
Question 3, 8 from this past paper:
http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects...1-QP-JAN13.PDF
I dont understand why AQA have recycled literally so much for the BIOL1 paper and then give us a cancerous exam for the new specification paper but oh well. The past paper questions should look familiar

I think they were being nice because this is the last year for the old spec exams, so if they make it hard then it can really screw people over (I know people think we're compensated due to low grade boundaries but if a exam goes bad then it puts you off doing the other questions, so I don't think just having low GB makes it far).

Yeah I'm weirdedout too. AQA are really horrible with A level Biology, so i was expecting a horrible paper like the previous ones.

I'm nervous for biol5. I just found this thread, I didn't know if many people were resitting the old spec.
As I'm the only person from my college who is
