What do you think about optometry?

Is it a good career? I want to study it at uni but i'm not sure, I'm hesitant but i have to chose soon :s-smilie:

Would you suggest anything else that is similar?

Biology
Chemistry
Maths

Edit: Another question, should I mention my mental health problems to uni when applying or should i leave it? Will it lower my chance of getting accepted? :redface:

What's making you hesitant about it? I don't know the course, but that's probably a good place to start discussion!

In terms of mental health, I'd suggest mentioning it. I don't believe it can affect your chances, generally it's just so they can offer you support etc if you need it.
