Help!?

Well... I randomly started chatting to this guy on myspace he's 20 and im 17, we seemed to get on well and i added him on msn. After a few months we swaped numbers and I have been talking and texting him for the last 2 months. The problem is i feel like i am going behind my parents and friends backs as they don't know about him..it's not anything sexual just friends but i feel as if i am being secretive....How do i tell them?!

Do you tell your parents about every random conversation you've had throughout the day? Probably not - so why do you need to tell them that you've been chatting to a guy you met over the internet, who you haven't even met in person yet?

It's like if I had a new job and got talking to some of the other workers and then called one for a chat or something, I wouldn't need/have to tell my parents (or even my friends). It's your life, and until you think he's important enough to need to tell people, you don't need to tell them :smile:
