I've never earned more than 6k in a year since graduating in 2014 so have never had to pay any of my students loans off.

WHOA.

Also, this thread is a bit hypocritical and its kinda winding me up.

People at least here are very hypocritical about benefits claimants, even the ones who honestly qualify. And based on a thread I made addressing them it seems it's because they are completely ignorant about it and watch too much ITV and Channel 5.

So when someone applies for benefits...and they dont need it...theyre seen as the worst things under the sun.

But when someone applies for a student loan and they're from a well off family...never mind how expensive tuition is and keeps getting...it's ok, "go for it!" they say.

K. I smell Tories and fake lefties.
