Thorpe Park is my favourite place in the entire universe and I still haven't done a Fright Night. They're supposed to be very good, though. I really want to do that maze they have with all the actors and stuff... in the dark that would be so cool.

i might go nwo you mentioendi t- aint been for ages - some of the rides would be deadly if it was fairly dark, lol

i know i love thorpe park and i haven't been for like 2 years so haven't been on stealth yet and when i went rush and slammer were new and didnt manage to go on slammer, yeah have you looked on the website? they have like something called sins i think then asylum and my friend linked me to a recording some one did inside and made me jump! haha yeah stealth and colouses in dark would be coool the parks open to ten when i go so would be pretty dark apart from flood lights they put on.

Ive been to a fright night. It was amazing! The mazes and things were so cool and very very scary! The queues were a little long but not too bad, see if you can get queue jump although i am not sure if they will be running it.

I went to Fright Night last week.
I only live down the road from Thorpe Park so we go all the time but I'd never been to a Fright Night before.
The mazes are called Hells Gate, Seven (as in the deadly sins) and Asylum. They were good actually and quite funny but the strobe lights made everyone dizzy :p:

Oooooh and the rides are awesome at night cos there was a massived red sunset.

It was good but overall I didn't feel it to be much different to regular Thorpe Park days, however given that its the same price I'm not complaining.

Rain adds to the fun :p:, it makes the actors face paint run down their faces making them even creepier

We went today. I have been on all the rides before but kind of felt for my friend who hadn;t been before...

Got there at 2 so we coudl spend 8 hours there if needed. I have been to TP 3 times before and all around October time and it was ALWAYS quiet. But obviously we didn;t take into account Half Term and the attraction of longer opening hours - the palce was PACKED!

In the end we only went on 3 rides

Vortex - 1 hour queue

Detonator - 1 hour queue

Stealth - 3 hour queue

Stealth broke down 3 times while we were in the queue and took 15mins a tiem to fix.

The darkness really didn't add to it at all IMO. There wasn;t adequate lighting o nthe groudn for a start which mae it easy to potentially mug peopel in all the corners, lol.

Also, all they did was to add some green/blue lights - they looks ncie from the top of Stealth but didn;t really look anything special on the ground.

I am utterly pissed off at the queue mangement. In the queue for Stealth peopel were climbing over gates and pushing their way in - some got caught. Others were just pushing through the lines and getting away with it.

When we got to near enough the end of a 3 hour wait at Stealth some prick managed to get 3 other peopel in by opening on of the gates,

And withi nthe queue system the gates were not shut - so it was easy for peopel to open the gates and skip part sof the line - all of them ****ing scummy chav teenagers as well.

Infact the place was crawling full of scum teenagers

By the time it got to around 8.30/9 we saw the times for the queues and couldnt be bothered.

Around 5 hours standing and 3 hours driving (for me) - definitley wasn't worth the admission today IMO. Stealth was probably worth a tenner tho, lol

My advice is to adoid it to be honest.

I been Thorpe Park numerous times, only gets better!

Going Alton Towers next week, can't frigging wait. Halloween week too - open till 10 .

Reply 16

i didn't bother going on stealth really wanted to go on it but it looked so quick to que for ages so we went on other rides instead think we went on about 7.
did you do the halloween mazes? they were fun!
so i'm just going to go thorpe park again when it opens spring and do all the rides and most deffinatly do stealth which i've never been on.
3 hrs drive? aaw! took us about 45 mins we got at thorpe park at about 10.45 i think. tickets only cost us £22 because booked online and group save.

Reply 17

nah didnt do the mazes, i wanted to see what Se7en was all about my my friend didnt want tobother queuing for it because it was in a tent and the wait time was 99mins!

Stealth is very quick, the whole thing only feels like 5-6 seconds and leaves you a bit shaken up - it did look good at night time tho.

Reply 18

Ahhh I only ever go during term time (inset days etc)- then there are no queues

Reply 19

yeah i'm thinking going when it opens again and skip college for the day
