Teeth, in pain!

Basically in a bit of a rubbish situation.

I currently live with my bf who is earning above the thresh hold for me to be able to claim any dental/health care. However, I'm still registered at home (as is my brother is, who is also at uni & gets full help), can I say that is my main address even though I live here 99% of the time?

I need to see a dentist pretty much asap because I have an impacted wisdom tooth causing pressure on all my teeth & its not nice! It's also caused my teeth to go crooked at the front like they were before I had a brace about 5 years ago.

Also, how do you go about getting a dentist? I don't mind even paying the fees for now but I've done a google search for dentists in my area & they say they're all full! :frown:

Help please, I'm in pain :frown:
Well, you can say that's your main address, but you'd be lying.

Technically I do live there. Like most students I just go back for holidays & they do it....

That doesn't mean that that's your main address, it means the majority of the student population lie in order to save money. Just 'cause everyone does something wrong, doesn't mean it's not wrong. It's up to you; no doubt I won't be telling my dentist I've officially moved house, but that doesn't make it right, it just means I don't care.

But surely a lot of students can claim full help because if they officially live from home, they base it on their loan and any part time job? Which in most cases is going to be less than parental income back home.

So?

So I'm guessing a lot of students put their term time address down?

Yes. That's because that's their official place of residence, since they live there for more than half the year.
