Does uneven teeth turn girls off

basically I'm 24 and never had a girl friend because I have low self esteem due to my buck teeth cus they look like ronaldo. I think its one of the main reason why girls aren't interested when I have try asking them out, I can sort of sense it. I think been told I'm good looking but just feel like no girl would ever be interested in me. So I'd like to hear some opinons from what the girls thinks about guys with bad teeth?

as long as they're not full out out of your mouth bucked, missing or sun yellow, you should be fine

My teeth are good condition, so no gaps or yellow teeth, its not that bad but i think its mainly because of the gap inbetween that makes me feel :frown:

Kinda look like a kid though.

Relax. If you rather be someone other than yourself, go ask a dentist what he can do about it. They can be knocked into place, broadened or moved closer together by some weird method.

I know some people who got braces in their 30s and managed to get a date after those 2-3 yrs. You'll get a lot of ridicule at work with it though. :rolleyes:

You ask any girl what she looks for in a guy and hmm I doubt teeth would be on her top 20!
Just cos ur 20 odd and never had a gf doesnt mean it's all your teeth's fault. Take a look at other aspects of you, eg. personality for example.

Why not? Do you mean they won't move his teeth? Well, *******s to that- I'm 22 and my brace is moving my teeth just fine thank you. If you mean he won't get a girlfriend due to having a brace, *******s to that too- if anything I smile more with my brace than before, because it shows I care about my appearance enough to sort the wonky teeth and have the confidence to just ignore it. Plus, I've still had guys interested despite it.

People get braces at 40 and they work- don't make such a sweeping generalisation!

OP, if you're concerned, talk to your dentist about it. I am sure there are a range of options out there that could help. They may be expensive, but you're only asking at this stage - not signing your life away.

OP, if you think about getting braces check out the damon system, your treatment time is shortened and they dont hurt half as much as the normal ones, plus you can hardly see them :smile:

Honesty, OP, most people aren't shallow enough to care if your teeth are a bit wonky so I wouldn't worry about it

My teeth are tidy yet not exactly uniform - from afar my smile looks perfect, but then you see a lot of quirkiness close up - different width teeth lined up together, stuff like that. Does that put girls off?

Also, does anyone have an idea of what veneers cost?

You not getting a girlfriend is not because of your teeth, its because you lack confidence. Even if your teeth were perfect tommorow, you would probably still lack confidence. It about being happy in who and what you are. You think ronaldo has problems getting girls? If you are still concerned about them you could look into getting treatment, but otherwise make sure they are white and clean all the time.
