Can't remember exactly but think I was about 25-32 last time I checked.

I just measured myself today: 25-40(inches)
For some reason, that doesn't look normal to me.

lol (i go the gym 3 days a week and have been doing for a year and i've been doing like hip and butt and thigh exercises as my main focus .)
This has caused a fair bit of gain in inches on the lower part of my body and wanted to ask if it was normal because tbh- those are the measurements are of a "fat" person and I got worried for a sec.

Eh my waist is around 28 inches idk about my hips.

I'm a UK Size 6/8 (51kg) depends on the shop, sizes can seem fairly inconsistent in some clothing retailers esp online.

A small waist might be idealized but it's a pain to find trousers that fit well, I don't want to suffer a wardrobe malfunction (imagine the trousers just falling down, oh dear). :colondollar:

Thank you
too big for my own good
People are growing taller and their proportions are getting larger over time. The typical "perfect" female figure used to be 36 24 36. This used to be known as a dress size 12. But there was always a lot of pressure on women and girls to achieve this. I find it quite heartening that nowadays a more realistic shape is beginning to be seen. I used to be a size 8 to 10 when I was in my twenties. [ 32 to 34 inch hips]. But once you have kids, maintaining that is very difficult. [ Which I haven't ]. !! I believe Marilyn Monroe's measurements were 38 bust, 24 waist 36 hips. The Italian actress Sophia Loren, when anybody asked her her age, famously used to give her vital statistics instead; 40 bust, 24 waist, 38 hips.

The smallest size. Size 10 trousers slip off my waist lol

I wear 8 but my legs are long so it's abit of a problem to look for decent clothes.

Do you not know what a 25" waist looks like? She's a small (I think).

I'm envious - I'm 25-32 and my friends joke that I look prepubescent
