When is the actual deadline for 2017/2018 to apply for student finance?

i'm a continuing student going to second year, which begin at September 2017 to May 2018. It say 31 May the deadline to apply which is in few days , is it true for continue student? i just finished my exams and it will take a least a month or two to get the result.

31 May was the deadline to apply for funding for the current academic year.

"To make sure you receive your fi rst payment at the start of term, you must return this form and all of the evidence we need by 23 June 2017. We will do our best to process your application as soon as possible, however if the deadline date has passed, your first payment may not be ready for the start of term."
