Nope, but if you continually use one it could lead to you developing a reliance on it.
Why do you need to know :s-smilie: I only know one reason people start using them when they don't need to and it isn't good :frown:

I was just wondering really, as my boyfriend has asthma and it just occured to me 'What would happen if I tried his pump?' :p:

Reply 3

No I don't think so. My mother has an asthma pump because she has some sort of allergy but not actually asthma.

And plus my best mate when I was little used to let me use hers cause I was jealous haha (we are talking about 6yrs old here) and I *think* I'm ok....

Oh ok then.
It gives you a mild kind of high and a bit of a headrush feeling...

Reply 5

it's a prescribed drug so shouldn't really be used by anyone but who it's prescribed for, but it's something that isn't really very harmful (though i'm not suggesting you should do it)

Reply 6

Just made me cough and gave me a headache to be honest. Oh, and it got me out of doing P.E.

Sorry but where do you get your info from ?

That claim is utter rubbish and fabrication!!

You don't get a high from such inhalers, they are used to clear your airways and have no substances in them that could assist you in getting high.

From using an inhaler you idiot.

So would you be so kind to actually let me know which ingredient is supposed to give you this so called high...........you moron

We both can be abusive you know

Reply 11

Probably very little. I had a mild does of salbutamol as part of an experiment in the first year and i just felt my lungs were clearer and i got a bit more of tremor than normal. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Clearly you think I mean 'high' in the way you meant it when you were young, sitting around in the era of free love and peace with a spliff the size of your arm, protesting about the war in veitnam and getting excited about 8 tracks. I simply meant that it is a headrush-high, like sniffing glue or magic markers.

Reply 13

it doesn't give you a head-rush high or any high at all.
i used to get advised to take a puff a day that sorta thing when i was younger, and for a while i did.and it help me breathe better, but not much better without it anyways. i.e. it had no significant effect.
it's just waste of an inhaler really brimmy so don't

Very droll:cool:

So are you admitting you were wrong and are now implying there is some sort of solvent involved in the manufacturing of inhalers?

Do yourself a favour and admit you were wrong and you have been fed some crap information and get back to High School Musical, that's what you "cats" are into isn't it???
