I've got economics next week too!
I think the most important thing is to do is essay plans for almost every possible essay that could come up, if you're prepared for every possible essay with a model answer in your head, there's nothing that can go wrong really!
Basically you need:
-Intro
-Analysis
-Evalution
-Judgement
For each topic area, as long as you can apply this to a wide range of topic areas and contexts, you'll be fine, good luck
