Boyfriend, drugs and his phone.

This weekend me and my boyfriend both decided to do some drugs together. He did a lot more than I did (him=speed, me=cocaine). On Monday night we were in bed and I knew that he couldn't sleep, but I went to sleep. I kept waking up in the middle of the night because his phone was lighting up, and he was messing about with it. This went on till 5am when I asked him what he was doing. He told me he was just "messing about" with it, because he couldn't sleep and he was bored. Well this had been going on for 4 hours, how much "messing about" can he do in 4 hours???

I think he was texting someone, what else could he have been doing? So I asked him to show me his phone and he said No. This really pissed me off because in my eyes, if he had nothing to hide, and he could see that I was suspicious, surely he'd show me it? Does anybody else think that this is suspicious, or am I just over-reacting because of the drugs?

I think you're just over-reacting. If my g/f asked to see my phone based on such flimsy pretext, I'd probably say no seeing it as unkind and distrustful.
