Not at all, why wouldn't the girl be able to? I think it'd be great, personally:p:

A girl can do whatever she likes

Though, not really sure what you mean by 'start a relationship'. Do you mean make the first move?

Reply 3

I definately think a girl can start a relationship but there's always probably going to be some guys who stick by the traditional view that the man should initiate things.

Despite what I just said, I wouldn't initiate anything relationship wise with a guy. That has more to do with me personally being a bit shy and afraid of rejection etc than me being a girl though.

Reply 8

It's the 21st century, it isn't just up to the guy to make the moves!

Reply 9

Tradition says the guy should... but for some reason other traditions, like women staying at home to take care of the kids and such (im not having a go dont worry, I prefer it this way) are not kept.... so I think its perfectly fine for a girl to ask... defiantely not a turnoff.

this day and age men and woman are all equal (or there abouts  ) so either can start the ball rolling in a relationship

Reply 11

Sometimes it's neccessary.

Reply 12

A girl making the move is awesome. It'd certainly be a nice change from the norm.

Reply 13

I wish more would as some people are shy and hate making first moves.

Reply 14

I wish they would.

yeah, i mean sending hints that she wants more from a boy-mate..!

From a boy mate? That's something different. I think she can, but she needs something to go on. Maybe he's unusually shy, unusually flirty etc. around you? Or he's just shy in general, but she might think there's something there, and if it's likely that he'll let her down easy then she should go for it. Clearly we're just talking in the hypothetical, here .

hmmm, I think it's a good thing... although I'd never have the courage to! :s-smilie:

Why? Women are emancipated.

I more or less started both of mine.
