S1 help

What are the areas in S1 that would be, and wouldn't be affected by coding?

Not affected:
PMCC

Affected:
Variance
Standard deviation
Mean
(Median- also I don't think questions usually come up about coding the median)
In the equation y = a + bx, a and b are affected by coding

Agreed with one clarification, standard deviation(any measure of spread) is only affected when you multiply or divide the observed data values when coding. If you just add or subtract a number from the observed values than its not affected.

Well a few clarifications actually.
As you say sd is only affected by multiplicative coding not by additive coding. However, this also applies to variance.as well as the b in y=a+bx
