The Student Room Group

Need your advice.

I went for a test [ultrasound] and the nurse said that the results will be ready in 2 weeks.

This was 6 weeks ago, so I want your advice as to what to do no. Should I make an appointment with my GP [who will have my results?] or should I phone the hospital?

Thanks for any advice.

P.S: (I think it's a disgrace, given that this was a test primarily for cancer and I've been feeling sick lately)

If the test result is fine sometimes they don't bother to call you.
I'd phone the hospital asap

Then try to get an appointment. It doesn't matter what the result; find out what it is first!

Call your GPs surgery.

They will be able to tell you that your result has (the NHS doesn't loose admin like this too often) come back, they will tell you whether you need to see your GP or not.

That is all.
