Painful when doing a number 2.

Hi.

Last week I was doing a number 2 but it took forever to come out. Sorry about being descriptive. This is rather embarassing. But because I don't think I drank enough during the day, it made it quite hard. So it was quite painful and as it happened it cut me round that area. Now everytime I go to the loo, it opens the wound so it keeps bleeding. It's really painful like I say.

Don't really know what to do cos I can't help going to the loo, so it's gonna keep opening up. How long do you reckon it will take to heal? I don't even know how to get it to heal.

Cheers.

~3 weeks to heal.

you may have burst something whislt straining too hard - it happens and though scary its not something to worry about overly. they usually clear up quite quickly

However the fact that this ahppened last week adn your still bleeding, you mgiuht want to get it checked out at your GP

nah. make sure you change your diet so you eat lots of fibre, and drink plenty of water -a loose stool is better to pass thus aids healing. try geting some of the 'wet' toilet tissue. makes wiping less painful. should clear up in a few days if you do that usually.

:ditto:

Leave it alone, drink plenty of water, eat lots of fibre, keep your **** soft and not only will you avoid this problem you'll also avoid most of the other nasties and hopefully you won't need someone like me to stick fingers, cameras and the rest of it up your arse.

Thanks for your replies.

It only bleeds because the wound is being opened every time I go to the loo so it's the wound that's bleeding, not from inside me.

Will it take 3 weeks to heal even though I will still be going to the loo? I can't help going to the toilet, and can't really stop it you know?

like i said when i posted...if you do those things it'll help. but you will still have a few days when it's well painful. then it gets better

You could try and intentionally have diarrhea
You know... Just lick things randomly e.g. television set; dog; kitchen floor maybe?

So, effectively using ones mouth as a temporary anus?

On a serious note, I (and most professionals) would advise against taking drugs unless there's a need, if the OPs constipation can be treated by a change in diet, it really should be.

And stealth, seen one of these; ?

Ok thank you. I'll try and drink more I guess and hope that works. I don't really like taking medicines but if I have to then i'll have to. However I can't take tablets so that's out of the question.
