Competition?

Basically me and a guy from my town have been going out for a very long time, last september he went to Uni, and to be honest its all gone very smoothly and all is good, wouldn't change anything because we're both very happy. However, I took my friend up with me for my 18th birthday, and she got with one of my bf's housemates, and now they're practically going out. My concern is that she'll just try and better me at everything me and my boyfriend do, and that i'll never get any precious time with my boyfriend as she'll go at the same time. I already go to school with her and see her at weekends, and i'm just concerned it will add more pressure on me and my boyfriend as we'll have someone analysing us instead of where we usually just act how we please. Am i just being a big worrier or do i have a point???
