then try to reach a soloution which suits both parties.

Agreed, you both need to discuss this when you are both calm and find out why you are arguing so much.

We talk about it calmly and it appears sorted out, but then things go bad within a few days like..

WHy do you keep arguing after talking? have you found the cause of it?

Perhaps try a break, a week or so with no contact? That might be a good way to get your relationship back on track, a little time apart to evaluate things can work wonders! Failing that, maybe when an argument gets started try spending 10 mins apart from eachother so the situation calms down a little?
