Hi I was doing some exam questions on energetics, just wanted to clarify the following:

"The mass of 1 mole of hexane is 86g" is this the MR?

Mass = Mr x Mole
Therefore when the moles is 1 - the Mass = Mr
so yes, that is the Mr of Hexane (86)

Another way of saying 'Mr' is "molar mass" which means the mass of one mole.
