I am taking 4 A-level subjects, but only 3 of them have AS, the other one is an A2 only subject (Edexcel IAL Law).

I want to get into the LLB Programme in LSE, but it is stated that a 4th AS subject is essential.

The website states that "The entry requirements for the LLB programme requires students to offer a 4th AS and BSc Economics and BSc Finance look upon a 4th AS in further maths as desirable. If students are not able to study a 4th AS they will not be disadvantaged; this should be made clear in the academic reference."

It's a little bit of an anti-thesis there, the first and last sentence contradict each other. So, if I were to state that I am doing 4 A2s in my reference, it should be fine right?

I think LSE are referring to the legacy A-levels because some students use to do 4 but then drop down to 3 with an AS qualification. Since it's the new Alevels, I wouldnt be worried because some qualifications don't have an AS anymore.

Call them and find out. I found that emails are not good as they took too long to reply.

Oh, I was actually reading outdated stuff, from 2018 intake onwards, a 4th AS subject is not required. Phew! Read it up on their LLB programme page.
