Question: Lp = 20log(p2/p1). Find P1 when Lp = 5 dB and P2 = 6000 Pa

What field is this in? If it's something like engineering then log\log must have referred to base 10, not base ee like in mathematics. Try again with that maybe?

Yes it is engineering, could you give me any tips of how to go about solving it?

Well your method of solving it is correct, its just that the base is most likely 10, not e, so try exponentiating with 10 as a base instead
