If islam didn't exist

there would still be deranged people like them but without islam they can't exactly recruit and radicalize people at the scale that they do it in, so i would have thought that there would be a significantly lower number of these types of terrorists, probably.

2 things:
1. They justify what they do and radicalise people via Islam hence I think there would be fewer terrorists of this nature

2. It's also the general culture of the Middle East, there have been many cases of inbreeding and poor upbringing over 100s of years and obviously a lot of war among many of the countries hence it isn't a particularly stable lifestyle
If not Islam, someone would just hijack another belief or would seek to preach hate in another way. Perhaps we would not have seen these terrorists but others would have at a different time or form.

Their main aim is global dominance. Islam doesn't tell them too- that's their personal goal. With or without islam these retards would still be around claiming to kill for faith. And tbh... which religion tells you to kill, of all people, people of your own faith. The IS's victims are 90-95% Muslims.
