or try just touching her hand and moving it on her... that way its not you directly.

Best trick is to act somewhat uninterested in anything like that until you're on the way home, then look at her straight in the eyes, carry on home, look at her again, then when you're almost there, let her walk a foot in front, take hold of her hand, swing her round and kiss her. Then lift her off her feet and carry her to the front door. I know this is all a lot easier said than done.

Lol, very romantic but also very american chicflickish. Touching, whispering, blowing her hair. Arouse the senses, dont just go in for the grope... start small work up to big. You should really be able to tell from the way she reacts, if she starts to resist by pulling your hand away... dont continue! If she moans or you can feel her pulse racing or breath quicken you're on the right path.

For the kiss part, I find the age-old sweeping hair away thing works. It's like a universal sign, if she looks like a rabbit in headlights after you do that, you don't move in!

As for the rest, honestly, you just have to move on yourself and she'll stop you if she's not comfortable. Just don't stick you hand straight in the obvious place, it's less than romantic and is best saved for when time is an issue :smile:

As a man, you'll generally be expected to lead the way. Even the more aggressive women still like a little leading!

But basically how do you steer a date towards more than a kiss and a cuddle? Lol without a.) getting slapped and b.) sounding like a prat and actually saying it?

Just cos as yet I've never got that far with any of my girlfriends, despite the fact apparently they wanted to and I definitely did. We just never seemed to communicate the fact very effectively...

Lol anyway, any suggestions for the future?

From the kiss, start kissing her neck... if you're any good then she'll basically be yours.

The OP has already managed the kiss and cuddle thing though so as good as that advice was (I agree with Dionysus' post, works like a charn), he wants to know how to go further.

Just read the signs and go with the flow. You say your past girlfriends wanted it? How do you know?
Stroke them on the arm while kissing them, then just let your hands flow. Don't be too fast but small movements will give you a chance to judge how much she's enjoying it and whether to hot it up or tone it down. Do what comes naturally to you.

works well if you guys are lying on eachother/cuddling up watching a dvd on a couch
