I'm so confused with the new spec in terms of what to revise for theory and methods. I got given a question sheet from my teacher on questions I may get in theory and methods and there's none about action theory and Marxism and such like, just questions on methods and interpretivsim/positivism. So do I need to revise theory in such depth for the education paper or just positivism and interpretivism???

The question is more focused on the theory of method's so yeah interpretivism and positivism, and obviously it could simply be a question asking about methods.

Either way, you're gonna need to know those two sides, and a lot of points in which you'll make can be linked to the major theories like functionalism but the question won't be focused around that.

So i don't think you need to study the depth that you would for paper three but it is still relevant x
