Whilst campaigning continues in real life with the General Election just days away, I am here to tell you about TSR's own Model General Election for the Model House of Commons. Firstly, Hi, I'm Petros, the Speaker of the Model House of Commons.

It's important, before I begin to ramble, that I let you know this model election is completely separate from the real life. In the Model House of Commons there are seven parties and plenty of independent candidates fighting to win 50 MP seats and to form a Model Government. The seven parties are:

- The Labour Party
- The Conservative & Unionist Party
- The Liberal Party
- UKIP
- The Socialist Party
- The Green Party
- The Libertarian Party

As you can see, some of the parties are based on real life parties and some of them are not.

The Model General Election started last Thursday and voting closes at the same time as real life, on Thursday the 8th June, at 10pm. You can view all the manifestos and cast your vote here. If you wish to join a party, you can do so by posting here.

Thank you for reading and thanks to the CT for allowing me to get MHoC's General Election a little bit more exposure!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here. I'd like to ask members of parties and Independent candidates to not advertise their candidacy or any other candidacies here.

Having an Ostrich as your avatar doesn't help promote your party.

It's a crane, not an ostrich, and I'm going for MHoC's longest-held avatar with it

Petros has asked members and independents to not advertise their party here, as independents do not have a party to advertise, independents have not been asked to not advertise themselves here. That allows me to plaster this thread in Vote Lib Dem Party literature if I want, however, I shall not spam this thread with adverts.

Ignore the avatar and name, I am copying RayApparently whose avatar advertises the TSR Labour Party.

Does that mean I can do one of those cheesy Rock the Vote lines of... 'It doesn't matter who you vote for, just go out and vote'??

AND NO ONE LOOK AT MY SIGNATURE BELOW.... EVER...

It would have fallen into oblivion in a matter of hours what with all the activity on the other GE threads.

Yes, ABSOLUTELY no-one look at mine either.

Don't you dare click that blue arrow.

My signature is realllllly toxic. You should definitely not vote for the party whose logo I happen to have put there. They''re definitely not working for the masses, not the millionaires, and totally not committed in any way whatsoever to making Britain a fairer society.
