Does oxidation happen at the postive electrode?

Negative electrode - Oxidation
Positive electrode - Reduction

You can think of it as this, oxidation is loss of electrons so attracted by the positive electrode thus reduction occurs at this +ve electrode while oxidation occurs at the -ve electrode.
