there was a thread about this like a few days ago.

antiperspirant? visit your gp?
Sweating is perfectly natural. Its your bodys way of cooling itself.

It all depends on the amount of exercise you do, food, how much you drink, what you wear, your fitness level, your metabolism, etc. Personally i find that if i'm running late or walk too fast to lectures i get red faced, i sweat, etc. Get to your lecture early and watch all the late people come in red faced and sweating, you aren't alone, relax. If its worrying you that much walk slower, dress cooler (ie; less layers) and get to lectures early so that you have a break to cool down. Then theres the showering and lynx concept which i hope you've mastered given that you're at uni age. Plus drinking plenty of water will help you cool down and prevent dehydration if you really are sweating heavily.

Studies have shown that high performance athletes sweat more than the average person because their body has become more efficient at cooling itself, so it sweats earlier during exercise and harder. So this could explain some of your problems.

If you're really concerned and the problem is persisting, visit your gp and put your mind at rest.

My boyfriend also sweats a lot and after a full day at uni he comes home with sweat patches and a very shiny red face. Earlier on this week I got given a Lynx Dry Sharp focus. He was a bit resistant to use it at first because he has been buying an expensive mitchellen deodrant and he thought that lynx would not be strong enough. However over the last few days the problem has improved, it’s a specialist one designed to keep you dry. It smells nice too a lot less clinical and more like an aftershave. Carrying a sample around with him was ideal as well because he could keep re-applying. Apparently Lynx are doing the sampling across the country visiting universities targeting sweaty students! Otherwise I presume it’s in shops right now; it is the advert with the guy with the funny eyes. This is my first post and I hope it’s useful! x
Botox paralyses the muscles & thus the sweat producing glands cease to function for a limited period.

Try wearing certain types of fabric (not sure which ones, as I don't really sweat that much).

ODABAN (www.odaban.com) you spray once under arms before going to bed once or twice a week and over time the sweating goes away, you can use it anywhere excessive sweating happens. as for mateiral to wear polyester is good, try tops like nike dry fit and addidas clima cool tops which are designed to get as much fresh air around your body
Yea i used to have a bit of a sweating problem, but the other day i got given some of this lynx dry sharp focus by some promotions guy.
Anyway i'm always one for a freebie so i thought i'd give it a whirl.

Its so goood!!!!
i'm not even joking i ride into lectures and don't get sweaty. i sit through the whole day and don't get sweat patches like i used to! which was sooo embarressing and meant i had to wear two t-shirts so i got more hot and sweaty and began to smell. not cool.

anyway with this new lynx i can focus more in my lectures, before i was always worrying that people were look at me funny etc before of my sweat patches. or that they could smell me!

i dont know if its in the shop yet but im gonna swoop the shelves when it does!
