What would you do?

Ok this is a very stupid question but anyway

I met this girl through a friend's girlfriend nearly a month ago, and I wanted to take her number from them later, but they were both out of town and have only just returned.
But now it's been a month, so should I ask for her number or not? I mean would it look really strange? and would it freak her out?

Weighing up the options - don't ask for the number, and prevent what you think could be an embaressing/awkward situation from happening (though you'll not talk to the girl so that seems pointless). Or, get the number and risk it - what have you got to lose?

Well, its not really weird, maybe I shouldn't have said that. I just meant that if he hasn't seen her in a month maybe he should spend a little bit of time with her before asking for her number. Maybe he was planning to anyway, thinking about it

You've left it too long mate. You need to seize the moment next time you see her and ask her yourself. A month is too long to wait if you're getting it through someone else

Are you sure she is interested? She'd probably be well chuffed if there was a connection. If not, you risk coming across as a bit desperate. But if you aren't going to see her again then who cares anyway? You're going to give out a pretty strong signal that you like her but if you are comfortable with that then go for it!

yeah she was, and cause we didn't have anything to write with there and all, I told her that I'll get her number later from her friend, but then they went out of town!
And now it's been a month so I dunno if I should.

What would you do?
