Having feelings for a guy who broke my heart.

Theres a guy i've liked for a long time. I know i shouldn't feel the way i do but i can't control it. Just the way his voice makes me smile makes me forget the way things could be. We were close friends for a very long time but, we couldn't be together. I had a bf. but i didn't love him. This guy kept telling me he loved me how he would always love me and i felt the same way. Then when i told him we could be together he told me to get over him because he had long ago. But I couldn't. I left him a message telling him I'd be there if he ever needed me and now he's ignoring me he doesn't want to know me he's barred my number and now i sit at night thinking about where i messed up with him. I go to places whhere we used to go together to find piece but i end up hurting myself even more. Why can't i move on and forget him?

maybe he got fed up of waiting, which is absolutely normal. if a guy really fancies a girl and she's dating someone who she doesn't even like and doesnt bother breaking up with him, what should he do? i'd say move on, isnt?
now that he's got over you, i think you should let him go.

however, are u sure he has forgotten u? if he did tell you that he really really loved u and that nothing would change that, maybe you should consider talking to him seriously. tell him how u truly feel for him. maybe he's just ignoring u to test u.

i say talk to him. if he doesnt want u then i'd let him go, no matter how much that hurts.. :s-smilie:

he's moved to scotland?? forever? where do u live? then maybe he told u all that stuff because he knew that long distance relationships tend to not work out very well.
and he probably thought that if he moved he could then maybe forget u. and to make it easier he just removed ur number.

Do you still have a boyfriend? If you liked this guy that much how come you didn't leave your boyfriend, guess you wasn't happy with your boyfriend to start chasing this other guy.

I think you will have to put it down to experience and move on, clearly he didn't want to wait and why should he when you had a boyfriend?

Use someone elses mobile to text him an apology. Phone him from a public phone box. Go on Radio 1 to announce to the world your love for him, if you have any for him. Contact his friends or family and try to get them to pass on a letter to him.

As hard as it seems and as much as it hurts I think you ned to start making steps towards moving on from him, its obvious that he is trying to shut you out of his life for whatever reason. Maybe he got fed up of waiting, but whatever his reason is he should have at least told you. You've got no way of contacting him and he's moved away, see it as a chance to make a fresh start, open your eyes to whats around you and make yourself happy.

If he could just leave you like that is he really worth it?

You know how difficult it is to bar someones number from your phone? Almost impossible. Try from a different phone before you get too upset, maybe he changed his number?
